Balaklava Helps Dreams Come True, as Seen in Escarpment Magazine

Balaklava has received a huge honour. The Belbecks’ luxury home, which was automated by Balaklava, has been featured in the Autumn/ Early Winter edition of Escarpment Living. We feel extremely fortunate to be part of an award-winning publication that has been in circulation for over 38 years.

Making dreams come true

The Belbeck residence, located on a strip of waterfront near Cobble Beach, is stunningly unique.

Architect Andrew Slade, builder Mallard Construction, and a whole team of skilled contractors, designers, etc. have fashioned a drool-worthy home “with gorgeous sunrises over the water, a private cove, a cobblestone beach, and a view of the iconic Cobble Beach lighthouse”.

Balaklava installed lighting control, motorized shades, audio/video, landscape audio and security cameras that are automated and easily controlled by an app on their phone, in-wall touchscreens, and handheld remote controls. We loved helping make Judy and Kevin’s retirement dreams come true.

The Belbecks’ wish list included a TV in their room - but they didn’t want their phenomenal view permanently blocked. Balaklava’s solution? A Nexus television is tucked inside a sleek and stylish cabinet at the base of the bed, so that the screen can be lowered when not in use.
